Bhoomi Trivedi to make guest appearance in a Gujarati film!
Singer Bhoomi Trivedi, who shot into national fame through the popular singing reality show Indian Idol and her hit song ‘Ram Chahe Leela’ in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Ram Leela, will be seen making a guest appearance in the Gujarati film Sambandho Ni Sonography.
Talking about the film, Bhoomi says, “I am singing a song for the film and when the makers requested me to make a guest appearance for that particular song, I readily agreed. I play myself in the song.”
Earlier there were news that the Vadodara girl will be collaborating again with Dhollywood’s most loved music duo Samir and Mana Raval. The trio have been working for a lot of Hindi and Gujarati films together and so a bond is likely to be formed. But the jam sessions and recording studio bonding’s are endearing and heart warming to watch.
Mana Raval says, “From Manisha to Matsar and more, Samir and I have been working with Bhoomi. She is a fun girl and the three of us have really bonded, plus music is what ties us together. IT has been a lot of fun working in our studio with her.”
“We have worked with Bhoomi on a lot of projects in the recent past and so it has become very easy for us to bond over music. She’s a wonderful girl. We were all a little free after the recording got done surprisingly fast and so went on to do a little singing and music session,” he added.
Indian Playback singer, Bhoomi Trivedi is known for her Bollywood songs like Ram Chahe Leela from Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela, which fetched her several awards and nominations. Trivedi got selected from audition to perform in Indian Idol 3, however she had to quit the show as she was suffering from jaundice. The following year she was again auditioned to perform in Indian Idol 4, but again had to quit the show since her aunt passed away because of breast cancer. She returned to the Fifth edition of Indian Idol where she ends up the competition as the Runner-up.
Trivedi, began her Bollywood career with 2012 film Prem Mayee with the song ‘Bahne Dey’. However, she rose to fame with her rendition in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2013 released film Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela, where she lent her voice for the song Ram Chahe Leela which featured Priyanka Chopra.
