Big B Shares News of Kader Khan’s Comeback to Films

On 9th August, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan announced and welcomed the comeback of veteran actor Kader Khan to Bollywood after a very long gap.

Big B took to twitter and wrote, “T 1957 – Kadar Khan .. great colleague, writer, contributor to many of my successful films .. returns to film after a long hiatus ! Welcome”

Interestingly, Kader Khan did not exactly take a break from films. The actor was seen in films like Ungli, Kill Dil and Khan last acted in the 2004 movie Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004) and a couple of smaller films earlier. Earlier this year, he made a comeback in Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha’s romantic drama Tevar which fared well at the box office.

Is it really a comeback then? Maybe Bachchan wanted to give a hint to the people about the next movie Khan is doing, Welcome Back with the “welcome” message. Khan will next be seen in John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar-starrer ‘Welcome Back’.

Khan wrote the dialogues of many Bachchan starrer hit films including Mr Natwarlal, Khoon Pasina, Do Aur Do Paanch, Satte Pe Satta, Inquilab, Giraftaar, Hum and Agneepath.

From negative roles to comedy to character roles, Kader Khan has portrayed diverse characters on screen in his career spanning over four decades. He has worked in over 350 films, including Coolie, Baap Numbri, Beta Dus Numbri, Hum, Bol Radha Bol, Aankhen, Raja Babu and Judwaa.

Kader Khan, in his late 70s, has so far been a victim of death hoaxes several times.
