Celebs get together for CCL charity dinner
With the completion of the fifth edition of Celebrity Cricket League, Celebs came forward for a social initiative called as ‘Hundred Hearts’, in association with Hrudaya Foundation which aims at sponsoring 100 open heart surgeries for children. Many of the Tollywood and Bollywood actors gathered for this special cause. The organization hosted a charity dinner-cum-fashion show.
Telugu Warriors team members and Tollywood heartthrobs Akhil Akkineni and Sudheer Babu looked dapper at the charity dinner which was hosted by Sohail Khan owner of Mumbai Heroes team and Sachiin Joshi, owner of Telugu Warriors on behalf of CCL and Hrudaya Foundation.
Actor Sachiin Joshi, from the Big Brother Foundation, will contribute Rs 1,000 for every run scored, said, “When I got to know about this concept, I was all game for it. I would love to lose my entire money for this cause. Main kangal hone ke liye bhi tayyar hoon.” Sanober Baig from Pride India and Pavan from Smartron also contributed towards this good cause.
Rana Daggubatti who was recently seen in Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Baby’ was also present at the event. Daggubatti who has wrapped shooting for his next flick, ‘Rudramadevi’, which be seen in the much anticipated movie ‘Baahubali’ later in the year. Actress Kajal Agarwal and Shriya Sarin were also spotted at the event. Tollywood actor Venkatesh Daggubati was spotted at the event.
Bollywood actress, Huma Qureshi turned show stopper for Shravan Ramaswamy’s fashion segment. Suneil Shetty came forward to support the noble cause. The actor batted for Mumbai Heroes till the semi finals where they lost out to Telugu warriors. While Captain of the Mumbai Heroes team Bobby Deol was also seen the gala event sporting a full-grown beard.
Others who were seen at the event were Samir Kochhar, Adah Sharma, Saqib Salim, Sneha Ullal, Varun Badola, Indraneil Sengupta with wife Barkha Bisht. Tollywood actor Sudeep who will be seen in Vijay’s upcoming Tamil movie ‘Puli’ was spotted at the event. The grand dinner also saw fashion sequences by designers Asmita Marwa and Shravan Ramaswamy. Actress Raai Laxmi turned showstopper for the event.
