Recently, at the trailer launch of Laila Majnu, talking about her achievements Ekta said, “My biggest achievement would be, if this film becomes successful and Avinash and Tripti emerge as stars. Today, whenever Mouni’s name is being taken, even my name is taken with her and that makes me happy.

Ekta went nostalgic and shared, “My father- son of a jewelry maker was given a chance by V. Shantaram and that’s why even I am here… I feel it’s the time to give back to the society .

Talking about choosing newcomers over star kids, she said, “Firstly, I wouldn’t call anyone a newcomer or a struggler, I’d say they are untapped talent. Secondly, I wouldn’t be happy in gut if I would have selected a person who is famous on Instagram or a star kid, instead of looking at their talent.

Ekta had a sweet message for Mouni, who will be soon debuting in Akshay Kumar‘s Gold, “The girl with a heart of Gold, shines like Gold on the screen.

Ms Kapoor, who is even ready with the reboot of her most popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, said, “In a reboot you play with modern day consequences. You don’t play around with the same old situations. So Prerna and Anurag’s characters will be definitely different.

Lastly, giving a message for all the new talents wanting to make a big in this Entertainment Industry, Ekta added, “Don’t follow me in the gym, temples, or wherever I go… That’s stalking! Don’t ask anyone to call me. Instead tape your talent and if it reaches me, I’ll cast you if you fit for the role without seeing your background or legacy.

Wishing Ekta Kapoor, Good Luck for all her upcoming projects.
