Deepika Padukone Learns Ballet
After impressing the audience with her graceful garba and dandiya dance moves in ‘Ram Leela’, the super gorgeous and talented actress Deepika Padukone is all set to perform a ballet next.
The leggy beauty will be seen performing the Russian dance form in the new campaign of Parachute that she endorses. Whats interesting to note is that only a very few of the Bollywood actresses have tried this difficult dance form. While Isha Sharvani is known for her flawless ballet performances, Adah Sharma is currently training for it as it’s a part of her next film.
A source reveals, “Ballet dancing is something that requires hard work, rigorous training and physical strength. In the video Deepika will be seen learning ballet and performing it to perfection.”
Whether it’s films or ads, Deepika seems to be learning something new in every outing. For ‘Ram Leela’, the director of the movie Sanjay Leela Bhansali had got special dancers from Gujarat to teach her garba as he wanted it to look authentic. For Lafangey Parinde, Deepika had learnt skating around a rink specially set up at YRF studio where the film was shot.
Ballet is a type of performance dance that originated in the Italian Renaissance courts of the 15th century and later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia. It has since become a widespread, highly technical form of dance with its own vocabulary based on French terminology. It has been globally influential and has defined the foundational techniques used in many other dance genres. Ballet requires years of training to learn and master, and much practice to retain proficiency. It has been taught in ballet schools around the world, which have historically used their own cultures to evolve the art.
