Dwayne Bravo out of IPL with shoulder injury
Chennai Super Kings all-rounder player Dwayne Bravo is set to miss the rest of ongoing version of the Indian Premier League(IPL) because of shoulder damage, dealing a blow to the two-time winner as the West Indian has been essential element of the side.
Ahead of Monday’s game next to Delhi Daredevils, CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that, “Bravo could miss “4 to 5 weeks” of IPL-7 after a bad fall in the last game. Sad that he won’t be part of the dressing room, hope he recovers soon”.
Bravo had bared the injury while fielding in Kings XI Punjab’s innings previous Friday. He unproductively tried to discontinue a switch beat by Glenn Maxwell off Ravichandran Ashwin in the final delivery of the 11th over with a diving attempt and injured his shoulder in the course.
The West Indian left the field and was apparently taken to a local hospital to determine the seriousness of his injury.
