#Exclusive: Naveen Pandita to play Karna’s brother in Karna Sangini

Star Plus’ Karna Sangini starring Tejasswi Prakash and Aashim Gulathi in the lead roles is in the buzz since the news of this show broke out. Recently, the channel aired the first teaser and it looks appealing too. As we reported earlier actor Naveen Pandita, who is well known for his stint in Zee TV‘s Aapke Aa Jaane Se, ALTBalaji‘s Gandii Baat, internationally acclaimed short film Trippy Trip to name a few has joined the ensemble cast of Karna Sangini.

Now we hear that Naveen has been roped in the show to play a pivotal role of Karna’s brother- ‘Shron’. We connected to Naveen, who says, “My character’s name is Shron ‘r’ is silent, he is Karna’s brother. As Karn was adopted by Adhirath and Radha, Shron was born after him, who apparently is the real suttputtra.”

Talking about his character, he shares, “He is a young and very playful who loves his brother like anything. This character would be new to the audience. As this show is from Karn’s point of view.”

Further sharing the challenges that he faced, while shooting and preparing for this character, Naveen reveals, “Challenges are to stick to the script mostly and we can hardly improvise because the script is contemporary ancient hindi. A slightest change can destroy the whole meaning. We have to be very careful while delivering. Other challenge is costumes they are heavy and not comfortable most of the time. In spite all the difficulties you have to represent the best and ya we are ready for it.”

On asking his experience working with Aashim and Tejasswi, Naveen says, “I have worked with Aashim before in one of my previous shows aswell so it’s really good to have a know face on sets. I haven’t shared screen space with Tejasswi yet as we move forward with the script we may and I am looking forward to that.”
