Justice League Part One: Ben Affleck becomes executive producer for Warner Bros next
Ben Affleck has been signed as the executive producer for Warner Bros Justice League Part One along with the role of the cape crusader in the film.
The 43-year-old actor will supposedly work with director Zack Snyder and screenwriter Chris Terrio on the script and weigh in on post-production, reported deadline.com .
Ben Affleck, who signed the deal with Warner Bros to direct and act in the Batman standalone film, will now co-produce the Justice League film.
The decision to involve Affleck in the co-production of the film has been taken after Zack Snyder’s directorial Batman V Superman received negative response from critics all around the world. However, the film was received well at the box office.
Affleck has directing credits on films such as Gone Baby Gone and The Town. He also produced, directed and starred in Argo, which won him a Best Picture Oscar. Terrio won the best original screenplay Academy Award for the same film.
Director Zack Snyder’s Justice League Part One shooting began in April.
Apart from Affleck, the star-cast of the forthcoming film includes Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Amber Heard, Jeremy Irons, J K Simmons and Willem Dafoe.
The film is scheduled to be released on November 1
