Veteran Singer and Music Composer Anu Malik have been ruled out as the judge of the famous singing show Sony Tv ‘s Indian Idol 10. As the #Metoo Movement is trending and supported by everyone, recently singer Sona Mohapatra and Shweta Pandit accused Anu Malik of sexually harassing them, giving the whole industry a shock. Supporting them, two more unnamed women came in the scenario as they too opened up regarding their sad story about the sexual misconduct they faced from Anu Malik. one woman is Indian idol wildcard contestant while the other was a production crew member on the sets of Indian Idol 5.
Seeing all these sexual allegations, the channel decided to stop Anu Malik from being the judge of the show as they removed him from the Indian Idol‘s jury panel.
The channel stated that they will invite some big names of Indian music as a guest, as they will be seen judging the show with Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani.
According to a newspaper, Anu Malik said that it was his own decision to step down from the judge of the show as he is not willing to work in the present state of mind and he needed a break.
Anu Malik refused to clarify the allegations, but he stated that he will take legal action against all the women who have accused him of sexual misconduct.
