Poha Roll

Poha roll recipe is another food item. It is delicious snack for Indians which you can take as a breakfast or mid-day snacks.


  • 1 egg
  • 30 gms rice flakes(Poha)
  • 100 gms potato
  • 2 green chillies
  • 20 gms roasted peanuts


  • 1/4 tsp dry mango powder(Amchur)
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp breadcrumbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
  • Coriander sprigs


  • Boil potatoes in a jar and mash it all.
  • Plainly grind the roasted peanut. Wash the poha in a strainer.
  • Wash the green chillies and coriander sprigs and then chop it.
  • Add poha, coriander, peanuts, spices and chillies leaves in the mashed potatoes.
  • Mix all the elements and roll into wanted shapes.
  • Dip in beaten egg and coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Deep fry in oil till rolls golden brown.
  • Serve it with tamarind chutney.
