Pooja Bedi comes out in support of Salman Khan!
Salman Khan’s comment about a “raped women” received criticism from many people. Some celebs took to twitter to express their disappointment about the actor’s comment. However, actress Pooja Bedi recently came out in support of the actor.
Pooja wrote on twitter, “if @BeingSalmanKhan is wrong then words like mad/retarded/strangled/murdered/crazy should all be considered “POLITICALLY INCORRECT” to use.”
The actress posted a series of tweets in support of the Dabangg actor.
“If I say “I feel strangled” in my work environment is it insensitive to those that have been strangled?”
“As educated & sensible people we need 2 calmly see how much of this “protest” against @BeingSalmanKhan is for political gain&Media TRP!”
After which a user wrote, “This is twitter. Hypocrites like @poojabeditweets you have been warned :)”
To which Bedi replied, “Yes! @parasrishi u have to be sensitive to THE ISSUES & VICTIMS. Not sensitive to Analagys, Metaphors &similes @oothikicha”
“If @BeingSalmanKhan’s intention was 2 use the term rape to describe something that shatters someone physically and emotionally, is it wrong?”
“Is @BeingSalmanKhan controversy justified? If I say I fee FAT as an elephant will @PetaIndia file a case? is India getting OVERSENSITIVE?,” she added.
