The wonderful Spatuletail is perhaps the world’s mainly stunning hummingbird. It is a medium-sized green, white and bronze hummingbird beautified with a brilliant turquoise gorget, blue crest feathers and a black line on its white under body. It is the only element of the monotypic genus Loddigesia. It is jeopardized and takes place only in a small area of northern Peru. American Bird Conservancy and its Peruvian partner group ECOAN are producing a society nature reserve which is placing thousands of inhabitant hummingbird flowers and growing a protractible eco-tourism program. The spatuletail’s endurance depends on the victory of these attempts.
