Toral Rasputra says she would love to take up Gujarati movies
The Balika Vadhu actress, Toral Rasputra has recently revealed that she would love to work in Gujarati movies. Toral’s name gives an immediate idea of her belonging to Kutchh and she says, “I identify a lot with Kutchh and what I have inherited from the place is simplicity,” that’s ToralRasputra for you!
This Gujarati girl was born in Anjar and brought up in Mumbai, she has won the hearts of audiences as Rasal in Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des and now, she is an inevitable part of Balika Vadhu for over a year.
Being a Gujarati, Toral would love to, “explore interesting roles in Gujarati movies or even television shows. But so far nothing has been offered to me which I would like to finalize. And when you’re part of a daily soap, doing anything beyond is not that easy.”
But she goes on to add, “Also, I feel happy to hear the progression Gujarati movie industry is making and would love to contribute to it as soon as possible.” Toral says she has enjoyed her childhood vacations a lot visiting her relatives in Kutchh, “It was so much fun being in Kutchh and observing the simple lifestyle the people follow over there and post earthquake, the way they have evolved back is praiseworthy.”
Rasputra started her career with advertisements for brands including Amul and Shoppers Stop. Then she made her debut on television with youth series like Dhoom Machaao Dhoom, where she played a leading role as Priyanka Sethi. She appeared in Ek Nayi Chhoti Si Zindagi and played the role of Anandi in Balika Vadhu.
